Dining Services Assessment
Baylor University (Waco, TX) has used the same dining services contractor for forty-nine years. In the fall of 2006, Baylor conducted a national search of dining services consultants. Early in 2007, Support Service Group, LLC was selected by Baylor for this project. SSG conducted an extensive student needs assessment, an operational efficiency assessment, and complete financial and contract review.
A program improvement plan was developed to improve student satisfaction, coupled with an operational improvement plan. The comprehensive assessment was completed on schedule and on budget. Baylor elected to re-negotiate with its long term contractor. SSG assisted with these negotiations.
Custodial Services Benchmarking and Assessment
Baylor retained Support Service Group, LLC in 2009 to benchmark their operational and financial results against other best-demonstrated custodial operations at similar universities. As a result of the benchmarking and assessment, Baylor elected to re-negotiate and extend their custodial contract for an additional five years. The project was completed on time and on budget.
