<p><a href="http://www.wssu.edu/">Winston Salem State University</a>&nbsp;(Winston-Salem, NC) has used the same dining services contractor for over 10 years. In 2011, Support Service Group, LLC was retained to conduct a comprehensive dining services assessment. &nbsp;<span class="caps">SSG</span>&nbsp;conducted an extensive student needs assessment, an operational efficiency assessment, and complete financial and contract reviews. &nbsp;The first phase of the project was completed ahead of schedule and on budget. &nbsp;The remainder of the project, which includes either the management of a RFP process or a contract extension negotiation with the existing contractor will be completed by May 1, 2011.</p>

Additionally,&nbsp;<span class="caps">SSG</span>&nbsp;assessed the Wofford long-term contractor&rsquo;s ability to improve student satisfaction, within existing budgetary parameters.&nbsp;<span class="caps">SSG&nbsp;</span>conducted a dining services needs assessment. A program improvement plan was developed to improve student satisfaction, coupled with the recommended contract renegotiation strategy.</p>

A program improvement plan was developed to improve student satisfaction, coupled with a major contractor commitment of capital to provide resident dining and retail facility improvements. <p><a href="http://www.uscb.edu">The University of South Carolina Beaufort</a> retained Support Service Group,&nbsp;<span class="caps">LLC</span>&nbsp;to evaluate the feasibility of establishing a resident dining program at the new South Campus. &nbsp;As a result of the feasibility study,&nbsp;<span class="caps">USCB</span>&nbsp;retained&nbsp;<span class="caps">SSG</span>&nbsp;to manage the establishment of a resident dining facility and prepare a&nbsp;<span class="caps">RFP</span>&nbsp;for the dining services management. &nbsp;SSG managed the RFP process including vendor selection and final contract negotiations. &nbsp;The new resident dining program with meal plans was established, and a new student center with resident dining facility constructed on budget and on schedule.</p>]]></summary></entry></feed>
